A message from Queen Hayley
"Being named the 2010 Lilac Festival Queen was a dream come true for me. I am humbled and
honored to serve on behalf of Spokane this year. Thank you to our many generous sponsors who
made this dream possible, from scholarships, to wardrobe, to all the supporters of the parade,
thank you. The Court and I are very busy with appearances and hope we get to meet you along
our journey. This is my personal invitation to you to come out for the premier event of the
year, the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade to be held on May 15, 2010. To visiting Royalty, the
court and I can not wait to host you the third week of May!"

Royal Tea Party
Queen Hayley would like to invite all the little princesses in Spokane to attend the 8th
Annual Royal Tea Party at the Davenport Hotel, 10am and 2pm. Tickets are $20 and available
through the Spokane Lilac Festival Office 535-4554. Purchase raffle tickets to be a 2010 Jr
Court member!
Queen Hayley and the Royal Court had such a wonderful time meeting you at
the 2010 Royal Tea Party! All our honorary princesses looked beautiful and

Are you a Junior girl interested in becoming a member of the 2011 court? Over 30 schools in
Spokane County are eligible to send a candidate through the Lilac Festival Royalty Candidate
process. Download and fill out the application here. Applications due Friday November 5, 2011.
